This talk will focus on the cultural institution model of Frac (French Regional Contemporary Art Funds) in France dedicated to collecting contemporary art. On Wednesday, June 23rd at 6pm, hear from artists, curators and others who work with the Frac system about how it functions as a public collection and what challenges the institution faces as the collections grow. This discussion is in conjunction with the exhibition Spatial City: An Architecture of Idealism, now showing at the Hyde Park Art Center.
